What We Do

Monthly bookkeeping and annual return preparation for one-person businesses

We categorize your receipts and expenses every month, calculate your quarterly tax estimates, and prepare your Schedule C and Form 1040 when the year ends. You send records, we organize them, and you check the results with us on video.

  1. Monthly

    Receipt and expense categorization

We sort invoices, platform deposits, client payments, and business expenses into the categories the tax authority expects on Schedule C. You receive a summary by the tenth of the following month.

  2. Monthly

    Bank statement reconciliation

We match every transaction in your business account to a receipt or invoice, flag duplicates, and note personal transfers that should not appear on your Schedule C.

  3. Quarterly

    Estimated tax calculation

Before each quarterly deadline, we calculate your estimated federal tax based on year-to-date profit, self-employment tax, and the standard deduction. We send you the amount and the payment reference number.

  4. Annual

Schedule C and Form 1040 preparation

At year-end, we complete your Schedule C with twelve months of categorized receipts and expenses, calculate self-employment tax, and prepare Form 1040. You receive the draft to check before filing.

  5. Ongoing

    Video calls for procedural questions

When you have questions about how to label a transaction, what counts as a business expense, or which federal form applies, we meet on video to check your books and answer.

You will need

  • Bank statements, receipts, and invoices in PDF or spreadsheet format each month
  • Records of receipts from all sources: client invoices, platform deposits, and payment-processor reports
  • A list of large or unusual expenses you want us to check before categorizing

What you receive

  • A categorized profit-and-loss summary every month, reconciled to your bank statement
  • Quarterly estimated tax amounts with payment instructions before each federal deadline
  • A completed Schedule C and Form 1040 draft at year-end, ready to check and file
